Initially trained in the sociology of science, my research focused on the politicisation of science, particularly through collective mobilisations and participatory science. I am currently pursuing research that addresses these issues from the perspective of the link between health and science in the field of cancer. I am particularly interested in the mobilisation of experiential knowledge, patient-experts and the way patients appropriate various issues in the context of highly technological medicine.
